You will evaluate their needs, recommend appropriate solutions, present options, and guide them through the purchasing process. What You'll Do Conduct in-home consultations with warm, qualified leads Evaluate existing HVAC systems and determine customer needs Recommend and sell heating, cooling, heat pump, ductless, indoor air quality, water heating, and other home comfort solutions Prepare and present professional, consultative sales proposals at the time of the appointment Provide customers with multiple equipment and system options when appropriate Discuss available financing and payment options Prepare system designs, layouts, equipment specifications, and material lists Complete sales agreements and all required installation documentation Obtain customer signatures and required deposits Coordinate completed sales with the Installation Department Work with Installation and Sales Management to resolve any project scope or contract questions Maintain accurate customer and equipment information Follow up with customers throughout the sales and installation process Generate referrals and develop additional sales opportunities Promote other company products and services when appropriate Achieve established sales, revenue, close-rate, and profitability objectives Stay current on HVAC technology, rebates, incentives, financing programs, and industry trends What We're Looking For The ideal HVAC Home Comfort Specialist is self-motivated, customer-focused, consultative, and comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment. You should have the ability to build trust quickly, explain technical information clearly, provide homeowners with appropriate choices, and confidently ask for the sale. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus HVAC industry experience strongly preferred Proven sales experience required Residential HVAC or in-home sales experience highly desirable Experience preparing estimates, proposals, contracts, and related sales documentation Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and active-listening skills Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner Strong organizational and follow-up skills Proficient with computers, tablets, CRM systems, and sales technology Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Your hard work and professional dedication will be rewarded with a competitive base salary plus commission structure with unlimited earning potential .
