You will evaluate their needs, recommend appropriate solutions, present options, and guide them through the purchasing process. What You'll Do Conduct in-home consultations with warm, qualified leads Evaluate existing HVAC systems and determine customer needs Recommend and sell heating, cooling, heat pump, ductless, indoor air quality, water heating, and other home comfort solutions Prepare and present professional, consultative sales proposals at the time of the appointment Provide customers with multiple equipment and system options when appropriate Discuss available financing and payment options Prepare system designs, layouts, equipment specifications, and material lists Complete sales agreements and all required installation documentation Obtain customer signatures and required deposits Coordinate completed sales with the Installation Department Work with Installation and Sales Management to resolve any project scope or contract questions Maintain accurate customer and equipment information Follow up with customers throughout the sales and installation process Generate referrals and develop additional sales opportunities Promote other company products and services when appropriate Achieve established sales, revenue, close-rate, and profitability objectives Stay current on HVAC technology, rebates, incentives, financing programs, and industry trends What We're Looking For The ideal HVAC Home Comfort Specialist is self-motivated, customer-focused, consultative, and comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment. You should have the ability to build trust quickly, explain technical information clearly, provide homeowners with appropriate choices, and confidently ask for the sale. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus HVAC industry experience strongly preferred Proven sales experience required Residential HVAC or in-home sales experience highly desirable Experience preparing estimates, proposals, contracts, and related sales documentation Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and active-listening skills Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner Strong organizational and follow-up skills Proficient with computers, tablets, CRM systems, and sales technology Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Your hard work and professional dedication will be rewarded with a competitive base salary plus commission structure with unlimited earning potential .

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of customers' homes to identify heating, cooling, ventilation, and energy efficiency needs Present product demonstrations and technical solutions tailored to each client's unique requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, installation, and service technicians to ensure smooth project execution Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation through deal closing, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud to track customer interactions, sales pipelines, and follow-up activities Provide expert technical support during pre-sales consultations and post-installation follow-up to enhance customer experience Develop compelling technical presentations and product demos that clearly communicate the benefits of our solutions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of enterprise software, cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, VMware virtualization technologies, and Linux-based systems relevant to smart home integrations
Skills:
Strong understanding of computer networking, AWS cloud services, VMware virtualization, Linux operating systems, and Azure platform fundamentals Proven experience in technical sales within a corporate or enterprise software environment with a focus on solution sales and deal closing Excellent client relationship management skills coupled with effective communication abilities for client consultations and technical presentations Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud for managing customer data and sales activities Ability to design comprehensive sales engineering solutions that meet diverse customer needs through product demos and technical solution proposals Skilled in analysis techniques to evaluate customer requirements and develop tailored recommendations Experience in business development within technology sectors with a focus on client engagement and cross-functional collaboration Technical proficiency in Bash (Unix shell scripting), Python programming, pre-sales activities, project management methodologies, and enterprise software deployment Join us as a Home Comfort Specialist where your technical expertise meets your passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences!
