Position Overview The Inside Sales Executive provides critical support to Contractors, Representatives, Distributors, and Account Executives in driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships across Marvair, Eubank, and ICE product lines. This role blends technical sales support, customer engagement, and proactive pipeline development to deliver a seamless and high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, tech-enabled, and eager to grow into advanced sales responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Customer & Sales Support Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound and outbound customer inquiries, including pricing, product selection, and application guidance Deliver a high-quality, responsive customer experience across phone, email, and digital channels Build strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and internal stakeholders Proposal & Sales Execution Develop accurate, timely, and competitive quotes and proposals in collaboration with Account Executives Support deal progression by coordinating information, pricing approvals, and timelines Assist Account Executives in expanding and nurturing existing customer accounts Pipeline & Sales Operations Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems Process sales orders, quotes, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and timeliness Support pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities Technical & Product Expertise Develop and maintain working knowledge of HVAC systems, product applications, and configurations Provide consultative recommendations to customers based on application needs Continuously build expertise in company products, processes, and industry trends Continuous Improvement & Growth Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, sales efficiency, and retention Contribute feedback to sales, marketing, and product teams on customer needs and market insights Actively participate in ongoing training and development with a goal of progressing into outside account executive roles Required Skills & Competencies Core Capabilities Strong customer service and consultative selling approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills Active listening and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Digital & Technical Proficiency Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with or ability to learn CRM and sales enablement tools Comfortable handling simultaneous communication channels (phone, email, chat) Familiarity with quoting tools, ERP systems, or technical product catalogs Sales & Professional Skills Strong phone and virtual communication presence Time management, organization, and attention to detail Data accuracy and process discipline Positive, team-oriented mindset with high reliability and accountability Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent experience required (Bachelor's preferred) 1-3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or technical support role Basic knowledge of HVAC systems or mechanical equipment preferred Experience supporting B2B customers (contractors, distributors, manufacturers) is a plus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Quote turnaround time and accuracy Customer response time and satisfaction Sales support effectiveness (conversion support, win rates) CRM data accuracy and activity tracking Order processing accuracy and timeliness Success Profile Successful candidates in this role are: Customer-centric and solutions-oriented Detail-driven and highly organized Technically curious and eager to learn Adaptable in a digital, fast-moving sales environment Motivated to grow into broader sales responsibilities Role Evolution This position is designed as a career pathway into advanced sales roles, including Account Executive or Territory Sales.
