Sales Engineer /
Business Development Specialist Location:
Hybrid (U.S.-based; travel required)
Compensation:
$120,000 - $150,000 + Bonus +
Stock Options Travel:
Domestic & International (Required) Position Overview This is a strategic, high-visibility role focused on driving business growth across aerospace, defense, and energy sectors. The Sales Engineer / Business Development Specialist will lead client engagement, develop technical proposals, and help expand key accounts-with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the business scales. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with clients across aerospace, defense, and government sectors Lead technical proposal development, ensuring compliance with regulatory and program requirements Deliver technical presentations to audiences ranging from small teams to large-scale conferences Travel for client meetings, tradeshows, and international engagements (monthly or as needed) Collaborate cross-functionally to support program execution and long-term growth initiatives Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic expansion efforts Qualifications 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, engineering, or related industry Background supporting NASA, Navy, DoD, or similar environments strongly preferred Strong experience with technical writing, proposals, and customer-facing presentations Comfortable with public speaking and building relationships in professional and social settings Tradeshow experience required; experience managing large-scale deals is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field preferred PMP, ISO, or program management experience is a plus What to Expect Hybrid work environment (more onsite initially for onboarding) Opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace and energy programs Career growth with the potential to build and lead a team Competitive compensation, bonus potential, and stock options Relocation assistance available #SNIT
