They are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer / Account Manager to drive business growth with major automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Position Overview You will manage the full product lifecycle from concept to mass production, acting as the key bridge between local automotive clients and our global engineering teams. This role is fully remote but requires residency in the Novi/Detroit area for frequent on-site client visits, troubleshooting, and regional travel.
Key Responsibilities Account Management:
Maintain relationships with assigned automotive OEMs and Tier 1 clients.
Business Development:
Identify and secure new business opportunities across Michigan and surrounding states.
Project Leadership:
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within scope.
Technical Proposals:
Create concept, design, and pricing proposals based on customer requirements.
Global Collaboration:
Partner closely with internal product departments and overseas factories.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of Sales or Project Management experience within the automotive industry.
Industry Knowledge:
Proven track record working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 companies.
Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to influence outcomes.
Travel:
Ability to travel within the US and to Asian countries with clients and product teams.
Pay:
From $120,000.00 per year
