Opportunity:
The responsibility of the Lifecyle Engineer is to evaluate system design for reliability, maintainability, supportability, and system safety, and make recommendations for improvement where deficiencies are found.
What You'll Do:
Conduct reliability and maintainability analyses to ensure systems meet MTBF, MTTR, and availability targets, and recommend improvements based on findings. Develop and manage logistics support documentation and plans, including maintenance, safety, provisioning, and lifecycle support materials. Partner with engineering teams to perform failure analysis, identify root causes, and recommend repair or replacement solutions. Evaluate field support needs by defining spare parts, tools, test equipment, and calibration requirements to optimize system performance. Support program success by contributing to design reviews, proposals, and mentoring junior team members while ensuring technical documentation quality.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences. 5+ years of direct Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) experience.
What Sets You Apart:
Advanced knowledge of Reliability, Maintainability, or System Safety principles with a strong focus on hardware systems. Proven ability to interpret technical requirements from specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs). Working knowledge of logistics disciplines such as provisioning, technical manuals, and training development. Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings, parts lists, and system documentation. Strong technical writing and communication skills, with experience using Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe tools, CAD software, and military standards is a plus.
