Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Informatica MDM Production Support Engineer to support and maintain enterprise Master Data Management applications and data integration processes. The role involves monitoring production environments, troubleshooting Informatica MDM issues, managing incidents, supporting data quality and governance processes, and coordinating with technical and business teams to ensure system availability and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for Informatica MDM applications, MDM Hub, workflows, services, and associated interfaces.
• Monitor MDM batch jobs, data loads, integrations, alerts, and scheduled processes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to MDM workflows, match and merge processes, data validation, survivorship, hierarchy management, and data synchronization.
• Investigate data quality issues, duplicate records, incorrect data consolidation, failed transactions, and integration errors.
• Analyze application logs, workflow logs, database records, and error messages to identify the cause of incidents.
• Perform SQL queries and data analysis to validate records, investigate discrepancies, and support issue resolution.

Staging tables

Match and merge processes

Trust and validation rules

Cross-reference records

Hierarchies

Batch groups

User exits and cleanse functions

Services Integration Framework

Monitor and support inbound and outbound integrations between Informatica MDM and source or downstream systems.

Coordinate with application, database, infrastructure, network, integration, and development teams to resolve production incidents.

Support configuration changes, deployments, patches, upgrades, and release activities.

Validate MDM configurations and deployments against business and technical requirements.

Perform post-deployment validation, data reconciliation, and regression testing.

Prepare root cause analysis reports for recurring or critical incidents.

Maintain standard operating procedures, runbooks, support documents, knowledge articles, and change logs.

Support scheduled production processes and ensure timely completion of batch workflows.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to reduce manual support activities.

Participate in incident reviews, problem management, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
