Does that sound like you? We are adding a Mission Critical Sales Engineer to our growing Offsite Manufacturing division in Seattle, WA. You will be the technical expert when it comes to all things data centers. You will be responsible for coordinating and developing sales proposals to potential customers and for developing leads and sales for mission critical services. Additionally, some additional responsibilities you will have include: Analyzes the potential of specific projects while considering changing market conditions. Produces accurate estimates, assembles quality proposals and demonstrates good written communication skills utilizing McKinstry guidelines and proposal formats. Manages scope and budget of a portfolio of projects before the project begins construction phase. Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects. Partners with Project Managers to assure perfect transition between preconstruction and construction Acts as the client's Single Point of Accountability What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience required. Knowledge of mission critical mechanical and electrical systems required. Five (5) years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor required. Two (2) years of experience leading and closing sales required. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, and estimates required. Knowledge of conceptual estimating preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. The pay range for this position is $93,600 - $163,400 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
