189887 Job Description About the Role A growing precision manufacturer in the Milwaukee area is looking for an Estimating Engineer with strong CNC machining roots. You'll sit at the intersection of technical expertise and business development - translating customer RFQs into accurate, competitive quotes while collaborating closely with sales and production teams. If you've built a career in CNC machining and are ready to take that knowledge into a role with broader business impact, this is the opportunity. What You'll Do

• Evaluate customer RFQs, drawings, and specs for manufacturability and quoting scope
• Build detailed cost estimates for CNC turning and milling opportunities
• Partner with sales, engineering, and manufacturing on capabilities and constraints
• Generate quotes in ERP and quoting software using established standards
• Drive timely quote submissions and contribute to process improvements
• Support post-job analysis to sharpen future quoting accuracy What You Bring
• 8+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (machinist, toolmaker, or engineering role)
• Deep knowledge of precision milling and turning, including dual spindle
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Sharp analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable managing shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment Nice to Have
• Experience in a dedicated estimating or sales engineering role
• Background in high-precision, contract machining
• Familiarity with ERP systems or quoting software
