In-Place Machining Company (IPM) is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and business. If you enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, working directly with customers, and turning technical expertise into real-world solutions—this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact. Requirements What You'll Do Partner with customers to understand challenges and deliver tailored engineering solutions Develop quotes, estimates, and technical scopes of work that win business Showcase IPM's capabilities and value through presentations and on-site visits Review drawings, assess job sites, and identify new opportunities for growth Build long-term relationships with customers across diverse industries Collaborate with engineering, field operations, and marketing to expand market reach What You Bring 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, field service, machining, industrial maintenance, or technical sales Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T preferred) Experience with SolidWorks and CAM software Highly organized, accountable, and driven to follow through Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred Equivalent hands-on experience, technical training, or certifications will be considered Why IPM?
