Job Description

Role Overview:
The Lead Sales Associate ensures a clean, organized store with a customer-focused approach. Responsibilities include assisting customers, operating cash registers, stocking merchandise, cleaning, and supporting store operations to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. They act in a leadership capacity during the absence of store management.
Key Duties:
Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers. Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and assist with merchandise. Receive, unpack, stock, and rotate products; set up displays. Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, restrooms, and stockroom. Assist with planogram implementation and store opening/closing procedures. Perform duties typically handled by management in their absence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety policies, cash handling, and merchandise presentation. Ability to perform mathematical calculations and operate cash registers. Ability to drive for bank deposits and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds.
Preferred Experience & Conditions:
High school diploma or equivalent, with six months of supervisory or related experience preferred. Physical activity including frequent standing, bending, lifting, and occasional climbing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise, occasional outdoor exposure, and travel as needed.
