• Full-time Inside Sales Manager Alabama Wholesale Lumber is a leading supplier of building materials in the [Montgomery, Alabama] area, committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team and lead our inside sales efforts.

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing all aspects of inside sales, including quoting, selling, and buying building materials. This role requires a strong understanding of building materials, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively manage inventory and coordinate deliveries. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in building material sales.

Responsibilities:

Generate and follow up on sales quotes for building materials. Effectively sell building materials to both new and existing customers. Manage and execute the purchasing of building materials to maintain optimal inventory levels. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory checks. Collaborate with the dispatch team to help coordinate timely and efficient deliveries to customers. Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends. Meet and exceed sales targets. Assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building material sales is required . Strong knowledge of a wide range of building materials and their applications. Proven ability to generate quotes, close sales, and negotiate effectively. Experience with inventory management principles and practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Proficiency in basic computer applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

Salary range: $55,000

• $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
