Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Hospitality & Business Development Coordinator to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and logistical details to ensure seamless execution. Develop and nurture relationships with clients, vendors, and partners through effective communication and negotiation to maximize opportunities for upselling and service expansion. Oversee event budgets from initial planning through post-event reconciliation, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track client interactions, manage schedules, and streamline operations. Lead marketing efforts for upcoming events by creating compelling promotional materials, leveraging social media channels, and executing targeted campaigns. Manage team members involved in event setup, execution, and post-event follow-up to ensure smooth collaboration and outstanding guest services. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the hospitality industry and develop strategies for outreach and growth. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, managing contracts effectively, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle. Experience Proven experience in hospitality industry roles such as event management, banquet coordination, or restaurant/hotel operations. Demonstrated success in business development activities including negotiation, upselling, and client relationship management. Strong background in event planning with proficiency in managing large-scale events or conferences. Familiarity with event management software tools and CRM systems for efficient data tracking and communication. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Effective communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, team members, and stakeholders. Prior experience managing budgets and contracts related to catering, venue rentals, or hotel services is highly desirable. Knowledge of marketing strategies specific to events or hospitality sectors will be considered an asset.
