DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE - SPORTS FIELD ENGINEERING

Position Summary The Business Development Representative is responsible for a marketing/sales program that meets or exceeds the strategic growth and diversification goals in conjunction with the CEI's Guiding Principles and Vision Statement and CEI's long-term strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop new clients through office visits, telephone communications, and other advanced strategies. Develop and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects. Track client information in the company database or other means so that client information is available to management and other group members. Participate in the design of and assist in the execution of the strategic marketing plan. Represent CEI professionally at local, regional, and national trade shows and exhibits. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Four-year college degree, plus 2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communication Skills Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
