Inside Sales Representative

Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis. JMS is a part of the Russel Metals family of companies. Job Description JMS Russel Metals is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our Jonesboro, AR location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Utilize sales and product knowledge to promote the company's products and increase customer base Call potential and existing customers to sell the company's products and services Set profit margins and pricing for regular orders, large orders and quotes Procure and purchase products to fulfill orders Monitor technical and business objectives of prospective customers Negotiate and prepare material bids for significant clients by setting pricing and profit margins and formulating all plan details Provide purchasing feedback as it relates to inventory levels, dead stock and new product evaluation Maintain acceptable profit margins to maintain/increase company's over-all financial health Monitor quality control and implement operating practices to ensure customer satisfaction Monitor ship dates and back orders Supervise billing and delivery of product to customers Build and maintain customer relationships Setup and maintain customer data base Work cohesively with outside sales team Maintain customer satisfaction (product accuracy, delivery, billing) Participate in on-call sales schedules

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
