You've worked hard building your book of business and they want to reward you with a very competitive salary ($80K to $180K base DOE) plus a generous, guaranteed commission/bonus structure , full benefits, a company truck, 401K, and more. Key responsibilities:
Continue to service your existing customers while growing your territory. Scout fields, collect samples, analyze and make soil and crop recommendations tailored towards growers' needs to produce maximum profitability Drive company product demand for fertilizers, crop protection products, and seed. Plan, develop, and negotiate customer crop plans including fertility, crop protection, and seed portfolios. Follow industry news and stay informed on new products and research
Key Qualifications:
Have a bachelor's degree or higher in an agronomy related field. 3+ years' retail Ag sales experience (and an existing book preferred) Must be PCA licensed and proficient in farm management software. Have solid verbal and written communication skills. The ability to present scientific data in a clear persuasive manner to build trust and long-term relationships with farmers and growers. Able to cover a countywide territory or larger. Must currently reside in California and have a valid U.S. driver's license.
