Based in Arcadia, CA, this high-impact role is responsible for building relationships, developing new business, and closing sales across energy efficiency and infrastructure sectors such as EV charging, solar, BESS, LED lighting, and general construction. You will work directly with business owners, municipalities, schools, and commercial clients to understand their needs and propose smart, tailored solutions. Your focus will be on qualifying leads, developing strategic opportunities, and managing deals from initial outreach through contract execution. You will collaborate closely with internal teams including engineering, estimating, and operations to deliver value-driven proposals and convert them into executed projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry partnerships
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads across public and private sectors
  • Develop sales strategies and outreach plans aligned with company goals and market trends
  • Create and deliver tailored proposals in coordination with the preconstruction and engineering teams
  • Attend site walks, client meetings, and industry events to gather intel and strengthen relationships
  • Work with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and collateral for your target segments
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and provide regular reporting on pipeline progress and forecasted revenue
  • Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring smooth handoffs to project delivery teams
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, energy, or infrastructure
  • Proven ability to develop relationships, navigate long sales cycles, and close deals
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling and solution-oriented sales techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, proposal workflows, and public sector procurement is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for meetings and site visits
