In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, promoting our products, and driving sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions to meet their needs. This position will be based on hourly wage plus commission. Responsibilities Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and promotions in the local security market. Provide insights to help improve offerings and sales strategy. Provide weekly updates on sales performance and market feedback to management. Ensure solutions meet compliance and safety standards. Identify potential residential and commercial clients in need of security solutions. Generate leads through cold calling, door-to-door outreach, online inquiries, and referrals. Conduct on-site or virtual assessments to understand the client's security concerns. Evaluate properties to recommend appropriate alarm systems (e.g., intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control). Maintain thorough understanding of alarm systems, smart home integrations, access control, CCTV, and monitoring services. Explain technical details in simple terms to help clients make informed decisions. Present tailored security solutions based on property layout, threat assessment, and client preferences. Demonstrate alarm system features, mobile app controls, and emergency response procedures. Develop and deliver customized proposals, including system design, equipment recommendations, and pricing. Clearly outline installation timelines, warranties, and service agreements. Handle objections professionally and negotiate contract terms to close sales. Secure signed agreements for installation and monitoring services. Log all interactions, quotes, and customer data in CRM software. Maintain accurate records of pipeline status, follow-ups, and contract details. Ensure smooth handoff and communication between sales and service teams. Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction. Upsell additional features or ongoing services (e.g., remote monitoring, system upgrades). Skills Proven experience in sales. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to effectively demonstrate products and communicate their value to customers.
