Job Description

We're getting ready for another strong, busy season and adding to our team!
Work schedule:
Saturday-Wednesday 9am-5pm We're seeking a Full-Time, customer-focused, Reservation & Customer Service Specialist to play a key role in converting vacation rental home inquiries into bookings and delivering an exceptional guest experience from first contact through post-stay follow-up. This is not a call center role —no cold calling. Instead, you'll work with warm leads from phone, email, online platforms, and repeat guests, helping travelers plan their stay along the Sonoma Coast.

What You'll Do:
Drive Bookings Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, direct website) Identify guest needs and confidently guide them to the right property Convert inquiries into confirmed reservations Manage the Guest Experience Handle pre-arrival and post-stay communication Provide clear, accurate property and area information Deliver high-quality service that leads to repeat bookings Reservation Operations Issue rental agreements and process payments Maintain detailed and accurate reservation records Learn and navigate our internal reservation system Problem Resolution Address guest questions or issues professionally and efficiently Maintain a calm, solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
Sales & Hospitality Experience:
2+ years in reservations, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing sales role
Excellent Communication:
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Customer-Focused Mindset:
Strong listening skills and ability to match guests with the right home
Tech Comfortable:
We use custom reservations software that can be difficult to learn at first. Comfort in learning new software is important.
Detail-Oriented & Organized:
Accurate record keeping and follow-through
Reliable & Flexible:
Available to work weekends and maintain a consistent schedule Additional Plus (Not Required) Vacation rental or property management experience Familiarity with Airbnb, Vrbo, or similar platforms Basic knowledge of home systems (WiFi, appliances, etc.) Social media experience Benefits PTO Health, dental, and vision insurance About the Role This is a high-impact position where strong communication and sales ability directly influence bookings and revenue.
