We are an established independent jewelry store in Brea specializing in fine jewelry, diamonds, custom design, jewelry repair, watches, and appraisals. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our customers and providing a personal shopping experience that you don't always find at large chain jewelry stores. What You'll Do As a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate, you will: Greet customers and create a welcoming, professional shopping experience Help customers select engagement rings, diamonds, fine jewelry, gifts, and other pieces Ask questions and understand each customer's needs, style, occasion, and budget Build relationships with customers and follow up on sales opportunities Demonstrate jewelry and explain product features with confidence Assist customers with custom jewelry, repairs, sizing, appraisals, and other store services Answer incoming phone calls and communicate professionally with customers Follow up with existing customers by phone, text, or other approved methods Learn about diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, watches, jewelry construction, and current styles Maintain accurate customer and sales information Process sales transactions and customer paperwork accurately Help maintain attractive, clean, and organized jewelry showcases Follow all store security and merchandise-handling procedures Participate in store events, promotions, and occasional community events Work with the rest of our team to provide an exceptional customer experience from beginning to end Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, confident, and comfortable starting conversations A strong communicator and active listener Motivated by sales goals and commission Dependable and professional Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable following up with customers and developing repeat business Willing to learn about diamonds, jewelry, watches, repairs, and custom design Able to handle high-value merchandise responsibly Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems Able to maintain professionalism during challenging customer situations Previous jewelry experience is a plus, but the right personality, professionalism, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.
