Job Summary The Customer Service/Inside Sales Rep partners closely with Sales Representatives to manage customer relationships, drive pipeline progression, support quoting and RFP activities, and expand business within assigned territories. This hybrid customer-facing and revenue-driving role is designed to enhance customer experience while directly supporting commercial growth, from lead generation through quote to order conversion. Essential Functions Partner with assigned Sales Representatives to support key accounts, territory growth, and pipeline progression; proactively follow up on leads and open quotes to drive conversion. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations; build strong relationships to understand customer needs and expectations. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and communicate findings to the Sales team. Generate and manage quotes, including annual quotes, and support the preparation and timely submission of RFPs. Maintain and update CRM (HubSpot) with accurate deal status, forecasts, and customer interactions; track pipeline progress and booking projections. Review customer forecast accuracy and support demand planning by aligning CRM pipeline with customer forecasts and operational plans. Track key commercial metrics including lead-to-order conversion, bookings performance, pipeline accuracy, OTIF, and customer service response time. Support monthly and quarterly business reviews by providing insights on performance trends, forecasts, and key account metrics. Participate in territory and account planning discussions and assist in managing smaller projects that may scale into larger opportunities. Perform additional job duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of relevant professional experience. Required Experience & Competencies 3-5+ years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Sales Support in a manufacturing or biopharma environment. Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and ERP systems (Syteline preferred). Experience in biopharma, life sciences, or regulated industries, with existing knowledge or network within the relevant customer base. Experience supporting RFP processes and complex customer projects. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools.
