GRWN is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Sales Advisor who is passionate about luxury jewelry, exceptional client service, and business development. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and creating their own opportunities rather than relying solely on walk-in traffic. The successful candidate will proactively cultivate new clients through networking, outreach, referrals, community engagement, events, and personal relationship building. They will serve as a brand ambassador while delivering an elevated luxury shopping experience and driving measurable sales growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. This role is in-person at our West Hollywood Location. This role is paid hourly, with an additional 5% commission on the jewelry they sell.
Job Description:
Responsible for generating revenue, ensuring superior service, customer loyalty and profitability. The Sales Advisor participates in a variety of training programs designed to instruct selling techniques and product knowledge. The Sales Advisor is accountable for all duties of this job. As an advisor of GRWN, the following requirements are applicable to every position: Participate as a team player in every way possible. CRM Key Responsibilities:
Holds the responsibility of being an opening/closing keyholder. Welcomes customers and assists them in the selection of their purchases by determining and meeting their needs. Assists customers with sales related services, such as sizing and settings. Either ability or commitment to achieve a monthly sales goal. Maintains preferred client records including names, addresses, email, and telephone numbers, listing their purchases and special contact dates within ERP (i.e. birthdays and anniversaries) in GRWN's CRM system. Listens to customer concerns, complaints or problems and takes appropriate action to relieve or eliminate the issue and when necessary, involves management. Corresponds with customers and sends thank you notes after purchases via texting and email template. Monitors/Tracks special orders, repairs and other customer inquiries by telephone or email. Completes all necessary paperwork associated with a purchase. Correctly enters all transactional information into the POS system. Accepts/evaluates and records items that require repair. Processes customer requests for returns following established procedures. Sets up showcases and arranges display windows, accurately counts products contained therein. Gift wraps purchases as requested. Assists with the packaging, including filling out paperwork and completing addresses for shipments. Participates in daily inventory counts and reconciliations Maintains a professional demeanor with clients and co-workers at all times. Organizes merchandise drawers, stocks new merchandise. Assists in setting up and maintaining store appearance. Stays abreast of industry trends by reading trade and industry publications. Participates in an extensive training schedule. Participates in the semi-annual inventory process. Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
Knowledge of selling techniques, processes and methods used in the fine jewelry industry and GRWN. Knowledge of overall GRWN operations, processes, products and capabilities. Knowledge of all types of fine jewelry including mined and lab-grown diamonds. Knowledge of technical policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to recognize and solve customer problems and partners with the manager. Two years of experience in a customer facing position or the equivalent level of training and experience.
Material and Equipment Directly Used:
ERP CRM Mobile Wireless Devices Working Environment/Physical Activities:
Standing, walking, and stooping 90% or more of the time, lifting on occasion 20 pounds or more. Reaching, handling, fingering when performing sales related duties. Speaking, hearing and exchanging information of the spoken word is also required to successfully perform these duties. Tasks including copying, computing, coordination and communicating are all essential. Interpersonal skills, and behaviors, as well as negotiating skills are required throughout the performance of the sales functions of this position.
Pay:
$28.85 per hour
