About the Role We run specialty retail key duplication shops stationed inside major host warehouse stores. We handle on-site cutting and programming for automotive, fleet, and commercial keys.

To be clear:

this is not an on-call locksmith gig. No midnight lockouts and no roadside emergency calls—just steady, daytime retail shifts.

Note on transactions:

Our setup is completely cashless. You handle no cash, no register drawers, and no payment processing . Customers pay directly at the host store registers, and our team verifies the receipt before cutting and handing off keys. What You'll Do Leading the Shop & Shift Operations Run the daily shop flow from setup to pack-down, keeping operations running on time and on standard. Train and mentor newer team members on equipment safety, customer communication, and verification steps. Manage receipt verification workflows to ensure every cut key is paid for and accounted for accurately. Send out end-of-shift daily recap reports on completed jobs and stock usage. Keep the workstation clean, organized, and running smoothly inside the host store. Technical Work & Inventory Cut, clone, and duplicate vehicle and commercial keys using our automated digital machines and vehicle database software. Double-check every key for precision before the customer walks away—accuracy is top priority. Track key blank stock, flag low inventory before items run out, and keep machines calibrated and clean. Customer Service & Host Relations Greet warehouse members, look up vehicle key compatibility, explain their options, and direct them through the purchase process. Maintain a professional presence and strong relationship with host store management and staff. What We're Looking For 1+ year of experience as a Shift Lead, Keyholder, Team Lead, or retail supervisor.

Tech-friendly:

You don't need prior key-cutting experience (we provide full, paid training), but you should be comfortable using tablets, lookup software, and digital cutting machines.

Eye for detail:

Focused on exact cuts, accurate stock counts, and verifying customer receipts properly.

Accountability:

Shows up on time, communicates proactively, and can run a shop independently without micromanagement. Reliable vehicle & valid driver's license: Able to commute to scheduled host locations.

Schedule & Regional Coverage Work Days:

Tuesday through Sunday (consistent daytime shifts scheduled within this window).

Locations:

Shifts rotate across our Costco host locations in Moreno Valley, Eastvale, Corona, Chino Hills, City of Industry, and La Quinta .

Pay:

$660.00 - $1,700.00 per week Application Question(s): How comfortable are you speaking with customers face-to-face all day? Will you be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report if requested? Will you be able to pass a background check if requested? This role requires traveling to multiple locations including City of Industry, Corona, Chino Hills, Eastvale, Moreno Valley, and La Quinta.
