Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support order processing, customer communication, sales administration, and inventory coordination in a fast-paced business environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry, order management, and customer service skills who enjoys working closely with sales teams, customers, distributors, factories, and internal departments. The Inside Sales Representative will play an important role in ensuring accurate order entry, timely shipments, responsive customer support, and smooth coordination across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales order entry, purchase orders, delivery schedules, shipping updates, forecasts, and order changes using internal systems.
- Communicate with factories, contract manufacturers, customers, and internal teams regarding schedule changes, quantity adjustments, cancellations, and shipment issues.
- Respond to customer, distributor, and internal inquiries by phone, email, and CRM while providing accurate and timely follow-up.
- Support quotation updates, distributor programs, stock rotation activities, inventory monitoring, and hub order processing.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports, maintain accurate records, register new part numbers, and support RMA processing for returns and shipment discrepancies.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support sales operations and customer satisfaction. Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range:
$47,840 to $52,000 per year.Job Type:
Temp-to-Hire.Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.Training Schedule:
9:00 am to 6:00 pm during the training period.Location:
Compton, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Manage order entry, shipping coordination, delivery schedules, and order updates.
- Support customer service, distributor inquiries, CRM activity, and sales administration.
- Coordinate forecasts, inventory updates, RMAs, quotations, and reporting.
- Partner with sales teams, factories, contract manufacturers, and internal departments to support business operations.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales support, order processing, data entry, customer service, or sales administration.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail when managing orders, part numbers, forecasts, and customer records.
- Experience using CRM systems, order processing systems, or internal sales operations platforms.
- Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email with customers, distributors, factories, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up on open items, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with routine reporting, administrative support, and clerical tasks in a business office environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting distributors, inventory programs, RMAs, stock rotation, or shipment discrepancy resolution.
- Familiarity with sales order processing, purchase orders, forecasting, and customer inventory management.
- Experience working with manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain-related teams.
