Have you ever been a sales rep with above-average people skills? Are you from the retail/customer service industry ready to leverage your skill set to help build and develop a daycare/wellness business and be part of a dynamic organization? We're looking for ambitious and energetic potential leaders in our sales and marketing position as a business development & relationship manager/sales associate with Dogtopia of Davis. We want individuals who can develop and build relationships with existing dog parents and also understand how to generate leads for new customers and make sales to grow our daycare & wellness business. This is accomplished by daily phone calls to new and existing parents, working on converting leads to dog meet & greets, creating and posting social media posts, running and hosting local events, and marketing for our Dogtopia daycare and wellness location with an emphasis on the daily cadence of outreach calls, scheduling of consultative sales conversations, and closing sales with dog parents for services. Our focus is on the overall health and well-being of not only the dog in our care but the quality of life that a happy, healthy dog provides its parents as well.

Responsibilities:

Sales and customer service, but be a genuine, sincere people person Work directly with dog parents selling weekly enrollment in daycare and wellness services Collaborate with the team to create an exceptional experience at every customer interaction Achieve set sales targets for the location Manage the pet parent journey from beginning to end Create and implement local marketing programs designed to enhance and grow dogs in daycare Serve as manager on duty, supervising staff Support our fundraising efforts for the Dogtopia Foundation and our goal of funding the training of two service dogs per year for veterans with PTSD. Assist front-of-house staff with day-to-day activities as needed. Be a team player willing to help the entire team whether assisting with a front desk or operational task, escorting or bathing a dog, cleaning, or anything that needs done!

Requirements:

Experience working in sales & service with exposure to marketing Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment Highly attentive to detail Proactive attitude and strong desire for upward mobility Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational skills Influential desire for growth and personal development Experience supervising staff Social media skills are a plus Willing to work at least 50% of holidays including New Years Day, July 4, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and 3-day weekends.
