Apply Description All Star Rents is a family owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and is operated by the 3rd generation of family members today. Our 13 locations provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. Join our team! All Star Rents is looking for the best talent to help us keep growing and expanding. You will be in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on customer service and growth. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working directly with contractors, construction companies, and industrial customers. Our East District is looking for an Outside Sales Representative. This position reports to the East District Manager and is responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and increasing equipment rental and sales revenue within their assigned territory only visiting branch locations less than 20% of their worked time. This is a full-time, exempt position with work primarily performed Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with occasional additional time as business needs require.

Job Duties:
Prospect new and grow existing business within assigned territory through cold calling, jobsite visits, and referrals Build and strengthen relationships with contractors, construction companies, and industrial customers Identify customer needs and recommend equipment and solutions across the full product line Leverage knowledge to support customer jobsite needs, increase sales, and conduct equipment demonstrations with basic operational training Manage territory accounts through regular jobsite visits, proactive outreach, and relationship development to uncover new opportunities Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, rentals, and opportunities Schedule work orders and prepare rental contracts in coordination with branch operations Track sales activity, customer interactions, follow-ups, and maintain accurate call logs and notes in company systems Monitor market conditions and competitor activity within the territory to improve sales strategy Coordinate with inside sales and yard personnel to ensure equipment availability, readiness, and excellent customer service Provide operational support at branch less than 20% of work time, including assisting with equipment handling, deliveries, and branch activities Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work areas, including company vehicle Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals Structured onboarding and training program provided Any duties deemed necessary by supervisorRequirements Requirements:
18 years or older. Valid CA driver's license Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US. Previous outside sales experience preferred (equipment rental or construction industry a plus!) Proven track record of success in sales and business development Solid negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal Strong customer service skills Self-starter and results oriented with the ability to work independently Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Computer Literacy- Typing and basic software Ability to lift 50lbs unaided A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace.
