Event Sales Representative

Temporary Event Brand Ambassador - Del Mar Spring & Garden Show (April 25-26) Poppy Exteriors is seeking two polished, sales-driven individuals with proven experience in sales, promotions, or brand ambassador roles to represent our luxury outdoor cleaning brand at the Del Mar Spring & Garden Show. We are a new, local company building a luxury outdoor lifestyle brand in San Diego. Our goal is to transform how people experience their homes by keeping their outdoor spaces clean, reset, and always ready to enjoy. This isn't just about cleaning. It's about creating a better everyday lifestyle so clients can spend more time enjoying their yard instead of maintaining it. This is not a passive role. You will be responsible for actively engaging attendees, confidently approaching foot traffic, delivering a strong and concise pitch, and converting conversations into qualified leads and booked consultations.

Responsibilities:

Proactively engage and attract attendees to the booth Confidently start conversations and stop foot traffic Deliver a quick, compelling brand pitch Capture lead information and book consultations on-site Represent Poppy Exteriors with a polished, luxury presence

Requirements:

Required experience in sales, promotional marketing, or brand ambassador roles Strong communication skills and confidence approaching strangers Ability to convert conversations into leads and appointments Professional appearance aligned with a luxury brand Reliable, punctual, and results-driven

Schedule:

This is a temporary, event-based position for the Del Mar Spring & Garden Show on April 25th and 26th, with shifts running approximately 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Compensation:

Hourly pay plus performance-based incentives for consultations booked, with bonus opportunities for hitting target goals. High performers may be considered for future events and ongoing opportunities.

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
