This is a high-level internal wholesale sales role, not a traditional outside road-rep position. The right candidate will own the territory by managing existing buyer relationships, growing key accounts, opening new doors and maintaining disciplined follow-up across the region. The South is one of our most lucrative territories. The right candidate for this position needs to operate with consistency, maturity, and accountability. This person should be able to drive revenue without needing constant oversight, while also working inside a structured sales system with leadership, operations, and sales support. We are not looking for someone who passively waits for buyers to place orders. We are looking for a serious wholesale operator who can manage a valuable territory, communicate clearly with buyers, maintain accurate account records, and help build long-term continuity for the business.

Manage existing accounts while developing qualified new wholesale opportunities. Build seasonal sales plans across collections, capsules, core products, and reorder opportunities. Prioritize accounts based on revenue potential, brand fit, payment history, and long-term value. Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets each collection & season. Drive consistent account growth without relying on constant direction from leadership. Buyer Relationship Management Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned South region accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, buyers, and decision-makers. Present seasonal collections and product lines to clients, highlighting features, trends, and value. Communicate clearly around product, pricing, delivery windows, order status, and brand direction. Understand each account's buying habits, customer base, product preferences, and reorder potential. Maintain regular client communication through weekly check-ins, showroom appointments, and trade show visits. New Account Development Identify and qualify new boutiques, specialty retailers, and regional accounts that fit the brands. Conduct structured daily outreach, including warm and cold calls, video calls, email, and selective in-person visits to identify new B2B sales opportunities. Build and maintain a target account list by state, city, store type, account potential, and brand fit. Schedule buyer appointments and present collections clearly. Move prospects through a disciplined sales pipeline from first contact to opening order. Sales Process & Reporting Maintain accurate account records, including buyer contacts, order history, follow-up dates, notes, objections, and next actions. Work closely with sales support, operations, production, and leadership to keep accounts moving smoothly. Track account performance, reorders, sell-through feedback, and payment behavior. Maintain clean internal communication so the company is never dependent on one person's private memory of an account. Strategic Travel Travel selectively for high-value buyer meetings, trade shows, markets, account recovery, and major new business opportunities. Prepare clear objectives before trips and report outcomes afterward. Help determine where outside regional support, market appointments, or in-person visits may be useful. Required Qualifications Proven ability to manage a sales territory and grow wholesale accounts. Experience working directly with boutique owners, buyers, independent retailers, or specialty accounts. Strong understanding of seasonal selling, buyer follow-up, order writing, reorders, and account management. Excellent communication skills across email, phone, video, and in-person meetings. Strong organizational habits and ability to manage many accounts without losing detail. Reliable, self-directed, and consistent. Preferred Qualifications 3-5+ years of wholesale sales experience. Experience selling premium streetwear, contemporary menswear, graphic apparel, denim, outerwear, or culturally driven brands. Existing relationships with boutiques, specialty retailers, or apparel buyers in the South/Southeast. Experience using CRM systems, wholesale platforms, order portals, or structured sales tracking tools. Experience working with internal production, design, operations, or sales support teams. Compensation This is a base-plus-commission role with uncapped earning potential . Bonus opportunities are also available, tied to territory growth, paid net wholesale sales, new account development, account retention, and overall sales quality. Final compensation will depend on experience, track record, existing relationships, and demonstrated ability to manage a valuable wholesale territory.
