ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for selling industrial gases, welding equipment, power and hand tools, and other supplies to customers
- Enter sales data into the computer and research information for customers
- Stock shelves, steel rack, counters and tables with merchandise, and maintain showroom displays, and receive product
- Research the cost and availability of products as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment/showroom
- Obtain or transfer merchandise requested by customers to and from other locations
- Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing
- Ensure all administrative related procedures are strictly observed.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Some sales experience is preferred
- Adequate computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
