We are looking for an experienced Home Remodeling Sales Consultant who can take ownership of the complete sales process—from the initial homeowner consultation through proposal, negotiation, signed contract, completed paperwork, and collection of the required initial deposit. This is not an appointment-setting or entry-level sales position . We are looking for a proven closer who is comfortable selling substantial residential remodeling projects and taking responsibility for the accuracy and completion of the sales transaction. Typical projects range from approximately $20,000 to $250,000 and include kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home renovations, room additions, and other residential remodeling projects. Bud Remodeling generates sales opportunities, and the successful consultant must also be capable of developing additional business through referrals, networking, prospecting, and their own lead-generation efforts. What We're Looking For Proven success in residential remodeling, home improvement, construction, or comparable high-ticket consumer sales. Demonstrated ability to build trust with homeowners and close substantial projects or contracts. Strong consultation, presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, follow-up, and closing skills. Experience preparing, reviewing, or presenting proposals and scopes of work. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for customer-facing documents and contracts. Exceptional attention to detail when completing agreements and sales paperwork. Ability to clearly explain project scope, pricing, payment terms, exclusions, and expectations to homeowners. Strong organization and pipeline-management discipline. Ability to independently manage multiple active opportunities and follow-ups. Comfortable generating your own leads and referrals in addition to working company-generated opportunities. Reliable transportation and ability to meet homeowners throughout Orange County. Familiarity with CRM or sales-tracking systems is preferred. Residential remodeling or construction knowledge is strongly preferred. Candidates with successful high-ticket, in-home sales experience in remodeling, roofing, windows and doors, HVAC, solar, flooring, landscaping, or other residential home-improvement services may also be a strong fit. What You'll Do Meet with prospective homeowners and understand their project goals, priorities, budget, and expectations. Conduct professional in-home and field sales consultations throughout Orange County. Qualify opportunities and determine whether the project is a good fit for Bud Remodeling. Gather the information necessary to develop an accurate and clearly defined proposal and scope of work. Write, review, edit, and proofread proposals and customer-facing sales documents. Present scope, pricing, payment terms, exclusions, and project expectations clearly and professionally. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the decision-making process. Address questions and objections and negotiate within approved project and pricing guidelines. Ask for the business and close qualified remodeling opportunities. Prepare, review, and proofread the final agreement before execution. Ensure required signatures, disclosures, documentation, and sales paperwork are complete and accurate. Obtain the required initial customer deposit in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate records of appointments, communications, proposals, follow-ups, and sales activity. Keep management informed of active opportunities and pipeline status. Deliver a complete and accurate handoff of sold projects to the production and operations team. Generate additional opportunities through referrals, networking, prospecting, relationships, and independent lead generation. What Bud Remodeling Provides Company-generated sales opportunities in addition to the business you develop independently. The opportunity to sell substantial residential remodeling projects ranging from approximately $20,000 to $250,000 . A broad remodeling offering including kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home renovations, additions, and related residential construction. An established team responsible for moving sold projects from the completed sales transaction into production and operations. Your primary responsibility is to sell and properly complete the transaction . This is not a position requiring you to manage construction through project completion. Compensation This is a 100% commission-based contract opportunity with no base salary . Compensation is tied to successfully sold business. The applicable commission calculation, eligibility requirements, payment timing, treatment of cancellations or changes, customer-payment requirements, self-generated business, and other compensation terms are established in the written commission agreement provided before engagement.
