Montebello, CA About Us We are the U.S. overseas business division of food manufacturers based in China, focused on bringing high-quality and innovative Asian food products to the U.S. market. Our own manufacturing facilities specialize in Ready-to-Eat and convenient Chinese foods , including prepared meals, seafood dishes, noodles, and other modern Chinese food products. In addition to products from our own factories, we also actively source and import trendy and fast-growing food items , especially desserts, snacks, and other products that are gaining popularity in Asia and the U.S. Our customers primarily include major supermarket chains, foodservice distributors, restaurant groups, and wholesale customers . We are a growing team, so this position is highly hands-on. You will be exposed to many different areas of running a business — from product selection and customer orders to logistics, inventory, accounting, and solving unexpected day-to-day problems. Although we work closely with factories and teams in China, regular overtime is not expected . Our standard working hours are 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM . Key Responsibilities Manage customer orders from confirmation through delivery and payment follow-up. Follow up on customer requests, product submissions, shipments, invoices, payments, and operational issues until they are fully resolved. Communicate with customers, factories, warehouses, trucking companies, logistics providers, and other business partners. Independently research and collect information needed to complete tasks, including customer requirements, product information, logistics, regulations, pricing, and operational procedures. Identify missing information, determine the next steps, contact the appropriate parties, and keep matters moving forward without requiring detailed step-by-step instructions. Maintain accurate customer, product, order, inventory, invoice, and project records. Use QuickBooks Online for orders, invoices, inventory, customer records, and basic accounting-related work. Use Feishu (Lark) for internal communication, documentation, task tracking, and team collaboration. Assist with inventory review, purchasing coordination, delivery appointments, shipping arrangements, and other supply chain tasks. Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices when needed. Support new product launches and the expansion of Chinese food brands into U.S. supermarkets, foodservice, and wholesale channels. Participate in new product research and product selection , including identifying trending foods, desserts, snacks, and other products with potential in the U.S. market. Share your own ideas and product recommendations. If you discover something interesting, trending, or simply something you genuinely like, you may have the opportunity to research whether it could become one of our future products. Research food trends, competitors, supermarket products, social media trends, and emerging Asian food categories to help identify new opportunities. During particularly busy periods, assist with outbound order fulfillment at our cold-storage warehouse in Montebello , including order preparation, labeling, staging, and general shipping support. This is on an as-needed basis, generally no more than 1-2 times per week . Handle other day-to-day business issues and follow them through to completion as they arise. What We Are Looking For The most important qualities for this position are: Strong independent research and information-gathering ability Excellent follow-up and execution skills Curiosity and willingness to learn Attention to detail Strong sense of responsibility Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time Ability to solve unfamiliar problems independently Willingness to take ownership and follow a task until it is actually completed We are looking for someone who does not need every task broken down step-by-step. In many situations, you may only be given the goal. You should be able to figure out: What information do I need? Who should I contact? What should happen next? And how do I make sure this actually gets completed? What You Will Learn This position provides broad exposure to how a real small-to-medium-sized international business operates. You will gain practical experience in: Sales operations Customer management Product sourcing and selection New product launches Inventory management Logistics and transportation Accounts receivable Basic accounting QuickBooks Online International trade and importing Food distribution Supermarket and foodservice channels Vendor and factory coordination Brand expansion into the U.S. market Business problem-solving You will also gain exposure to the food product development and selection process — from discovering a trending product or interesting concept, researching the market, discussing it with factories and suppliers, evaluating pricing and feasibility, and potentially seeing that product eventually reach supermarket shelves. Because we are actively looking for new and interesting products, your personal interests and taste can matter too . If you see a dessert, snack, or food trend that you believe has potential, you are encouraged to bring the idea to the team. More importantly, you will learn one of the most transferable skills in business: How to take something that needs to happen, figure out how to make it happen, coordinate the people involved, execute it, and continue following up until it is truly completed. You are not being trained for only one narrow job function. The goal is to develop the practical operational skills that can be applied to almost any small or medium-sized business .
