As one of the few companies in the U.S. market focusing on local operation and growth of IP-based toy brands, we are building a unique business model combining product innovation, brand development, and retail partnerships. Our products have already gained recognition from leading retail partners, including Miniso and Barnes & Noble, and we are continuing to expand our wholesale network across the United States. As we continue scaling our U.S. market presence, we are looking for an experienced Sales Team Lead to build and manage our field sales organization, drive retail expansion, and establish a high-performance sales culture.
What you will do:
Lead and manage the field sales representatives responsible for U.S. retail expansion. Set team sales targets and break down company goals into daily, weekly, and monthly execution plans. Establish sales processes, activity standards, and performance measurement systems. Manage frontline sales execution through CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales dashboards. Monitor daily field sales activities, including: customer visits, store coverage, new account development, follow-up activities, sales pipeline progress Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching, training, and field support. Accompany sales representatives on customer visits and provide hands-on guidance. Identify sales challenges and develop solutions to improve team productivity and conversion rates. Build and optimize territory coverage strategies for independent retailers, specialty stores, gift shops, and hobby stores. Support key customer meetings, market visits, and trade shows when needed. Collaborate with internal teams on product launches, sales materials, and retailer feedback.
What we look for:
5+ years of sales experience in consumer goods, FMCG, retail, or related industries. 3+ years of experience managing frontline sales teams, preferably with distributed or field sales teams. Chinese-speaking candidates preferred with strong understanding of both Chinese and U.S. business environments. Proven experience managing sales representatives, setting targets, and driving team performance. Strong understanding of offline retail sales, channel development, and customer acquisition. Hands-on field sales mindset with willingness to coach teams through real customer interactions. Experience using CRM systems, sales dashboards, or reporting tools to monitor sales activities and team performance. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working full-time onsite at the California office. Why Join Us?
