This is not solely a digital marketing or web design position. The primary focus is business growth through direct relationship building and sales. The successful candidate will regularly visit physician offices, clinics, medical groups, and other healthcare organizations; meet physicians and staff face-to-face; develop referral relationships; communicate our services and capabilities; identify opportunities; and convert those relationships into measurable growth. We have built a strong digital and marketing infrastructure. We are now looking for someone who can take those resources into the community and turn them into relationships, referrals, patients, and new business. This individual will also support websites, digital marketing, SEO, social media, reputation management, and marketing materials that directly support the sales effort. Primary Responsibilities Medical Sales & Business Development Regularly visit physician practices, clinics, medical groups, hospitals, and potential referral partners throughout the assigned territory. Build relationships with physicians, practice managers, referral coordinators, administrators, and clinical staff. Present our physicians, specialties, locations, programs, and service lines. Identify and develop new referral and business opportunities. Conduct consistent face-to-face outreach rather than relying primarily on email or digital communication. Ask for business and appropriately communicate why our organizations can provide value to physicians and their patients. Coordinate physician introductions, office visits, lunches, presentations, and community outreach. Maintain consistent follow-up with new and existing relationships. Identify barriers preventing referrals and work internally to resolve them. Maintain an organized sales pipeline and CRM. Track outreach, opportunities, follow-up, conversions, and referral growth. Develop growth strategies by physician, specialty, service line, and geographic market. Marketing & Sales Support Develop marketing campaigns that directly support business-development objectives. Create brochures, referral guides, flyers, presentations, leave-behind materials, and other sales tools. Support new provider launches and introductions into the medical community. Coordinate community events, physician outreach, and networking activities. Develop targeted campaigns for priority physicians, specialties, locations, and services. Ensure marketing activity is connected to measurable growth objectives. Qualifications Strong sales, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills. Comfortable walking into a medical office, introducing yourself, developing relationships, and asking for business. Sales, business development, physician relations, healthcare outreach, or marketing experience preferred. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Ability to confidently communicate with physicians, executives, administrators, and clinical staff. Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills. Ability to independently manage a geographic territory and sales pipeline. Experience with CRM systems preferred. Experience with WordPress, websites, SEO, Google Business Profiles, social media, or digital marketing preferred. Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software preferred. Strong organizational and project-management skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to regularly travel throughout the assigned Southern California market. Performance Expectations Success in this position will be measured primarily by business growth and relationship development, including: New physician and clinic relationships. Meaningful face-to-face sales visits. New referral sources activated. Growth in referral volume. Growth in targeted physicians and service lines. Sales opportunities generated. Sales pipeline activity and conversion. Retention and expansion of existing referral relationships. Patient lead and conversion growth. Successful execution of physician outreach campaigns. Digital lead generation and website conversion. Growth in online visibility and provider reputation. Digital activity alone is not considered success in this position. Marketing efforts should ultimately support measurable organizational growth. Compensation Structure This position will offer a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive compensation. The base salary provides stability while the incentive component rewards measurable achievement of approved business-development and growth objectives. Performance incentives may be based on established metrics such as overall business-development goals, new organizational relationships, successful market-development initiatives, service-line growth, execution of strategic growth objectives, and other approved performance measures. Because United Specialists, MSO operates within healthcare, all compensation and incentive arrangements will be structured and reviewed to comply with applicable federal and California healthcare laws and regulations. Incentive compensation will not be structured as payment for individual patient referrals or other prohibited referral activity. What We Are Looking For We have invested significantly in websites, digital marketing, branding, and infrastructure. Now we need someone who can sell. We want someone who will get out of the office, visit clinics, meet people, shake hands, build relationships, communicate our value, follow up, and create opportunities. The ideal candidate can sit across from a physician or practice manager and confidently explain why they should work with us—and then return to the office and develop the marketing tools necessary to support that relationship. This is not a position for someone who wants to spend the entire day behind a computer. It is a growth position supported by marketing. Why Join United Specialists, MSO? United Specialists, MSO provides administrative, operational, and business support to healthcare organizations throughout California. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence the growth of multiple healthcare organizations while combining traditional relationship-based healthcare sales with modern digital marketing. We are looking for someone who does not simply want to market healthcare organizations. We are looking for someone who wants to help grow them.
