2017 accredited company providing calibration and repair services traceable to NIST for a wide range of electronic, physical/dimensional, analytical, thermodynamic, and test & measurement equipment. We support a significant number of different industries and a large array of manufacturers We are looking for a self-starter to fill a newly developed position within our company. The sales Coordinator works closely with and supports the Director of Operations, by obtaining new clients and managing current client needs, while ensuring seamless administrative execution. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high standard of professionalism and efficiency in all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets through the promotion of Standard Meter Labs' services.
  • Build and cultivate meaningful business relationships to secure strategic partnerships and client referrals.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to deliver customized, high-quality calibration solutions.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to foster long-term client loyalty and retention.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and competitive developments.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by consistently following up on leads, prospects, and customer service inquiries.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and client interactions within the CRM, generating performance reports as needed.
  • Perform weekly referral audits to ensure data accuracy for bonus payouts.
  • Address and resolve service complaints, collaborating with the Operations Manager to implement solutions. Qualifications
Sales Experience :
Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong preference for technical or industrial sectors.
    Technical & Industry Knowledge :
    Basic understanding of metrology principles and calibration procedures. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) is a significant plus
      Consultative Selling & Acumen :
      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess complex customer needs and propose tailored calibration solutions.
        Communication & Relationship Building :
        Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to confidently present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
          Software Proficiency :
          Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) is highly desirable.
            Organization & Professionalism:
            Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a highly professional demeanor.
              Travel & Mobility :
              Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (primarily local, with occasional out-of-state travel). Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
                Education:
                High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a marketing and or a technical field is preferred. Full-time
                  Schedule:
                  7:30am-4:00pm (Business Hours) M-F
                  • Inside sales (calls and emails) with some customer visits 1-2 days a week
