Position Summary Sales Representative III is an experienced sales professional and peer leader within the Sales Team. They will call on veterinary customers and work with distributor partners to grow product sales, while increasing the category market share within the animal health industry. Assist customers with orders, answer questions on a wide range of products, and expand product awareness within assigned territory. Compensation & Benefits Employee Ownership (ESOP): Company-funded retirement contribution of approximately 18% of pay, plus 401(k) Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA, and Pet Insurance Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and parental leave Fitness and tuition reimbursement programs Essential Duties & Responsibilities Meet sales objectives (quota) both overall and for key growth products via demand generation within assigned territory. Successfully launch new and defend legacy products. Consistently build and demonstrate relevant technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and veterinary practice expertise. Build effective relationships with and service all targeted hospitals / personnel to ensure you maintain and grow relevance and access within each account. Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan / Resource Allocation per our expectations - effectively implementing the full complement of PRN resources and following up to maximize ROI. Meet field activity expectations including sales call activity and investment in medical education programs. Develop and execute a call-cycle at the account and veterinarian level that delivers our reach / frequency expectations. Leverage CRM tools to enhance customer relationships Lead by example and serve as a mentor to the sales team, driving sales objectives, goals and targets. All other tasks as requested or assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sales, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of sales experience in animal health or pharmaceutical industry. Experience calling on and managing distributor accounts and managing a geographically large sales territory. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Advanced experience using CRMs to drive sales. The pay range for this role considers a wide range of factors including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographical location, and other organizational needs. The estimated pay range for this role is $82,194 Min to $123,291 Max per year. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in a quarterly sales commission incentive program associated with this specific role.
