From handcrafted lashes to innovative beauty essentials, our mission is to make high-end beauty affordable, inclusive and effortless. An Inside Sales Representative at New World Beauty, Inc. ("NWB"), plays a crucial role in driving revenue and expanding the customer base for JLash / JBabe. The Inside Sales Representative position typically involves establishing and nurturing leads, and proactively generating new business, primarily through phone and email communication. This role also involves cultivating existing customer relationships and introducing them to new products or promotions.
Essential Functions:
  • Present and sell beauty/eyelash products to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers (including cold calling)
  • Reach agreed-upon sales targets
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Share sales material/promotions to present and potential customers
  • Service and support existing customers
  • Develop professional relationships and work closely with leadership, marketing, and other partners
The Magic You'll Bring:
    Sales Experience:
    Proven experience in an inside sales role and customer service, ideally within the beauty or retail industry. Minimum 2 years of previous sales experience (B2B preferred)
      Goal-Oriented and Initiative-taking:
      Self-motivated and driven by achieving sales targets and goals
        Communication Skills:
        Strong verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and cultivate/maintain strong customer relationships
        • Attention to
        Detail:
        Focus is key, as there are SKUs, quantities, prices, shipping/delivery instructions, and other customer-related details to coordinate and manage to be effective in this role
          Product Knowledge:
          Solid understanding of beauty products, techniques, and trends within the beauty industry
            Strong Negotiation and Critical Thinking Skills:
            Quick and creative thinking to provide practical solutions during customer interactions and to successfully negotiate and provide effective solutions
            Requirements:
            • Meet with local customers as needed
            • Comfortable with presenting our products to existing and potential customers
            • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
            • Project tracking spreadsheet or software experience is a plus
            • Other duties across the company may be assigned, as needed
            • Some travel is required (conventions, trade shows and other events)
            • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance that includes using a personal vehicle for business purposes.
            Note:
            As of January 1, 2025, the new minimum liability limits for bodily injury are $30,000 per person and $60,000 per single accident, along with $15,000 for property damage
