is a fragrance retail store specializing in designer, niche, and popular perfumes for men and women. We are looking for experienced and motivated Sales Associates to join our Ontario Mills team. We are specifically looking for candidates who have sales experience and a strong understanding of perfumes, fragrances, customer service, and retail store operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with customers, recommending fragrances, explaining notes and perfume types, and helping customers choose the right scent. Position Overview We are hiring 2 Sales Associates for our Ontario Mills Store . This position is best suited for someone who already has experience in retail sales, preferably in perfumes, cosmetics, beauty, fashion, or luxury retail. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, explaining fragrance options, maintaining store presentation, handling sales transactions, and helping the store reach daily and monthly sales goals. Key Responsibilities As a Sales Associate at LA FRAGANCIA, your responsibilities will include: Greet every customer professionally and provide excellent customer service. Assist customers in selecting perfumes based on their preferences, occasion, budget, and style. Explain fragrance notes such as fresh, woody, floral, spicy, sweet, oud, citrus, musk, amber, and vanilla. Recommend designer and niche perfumes to customers. Understand the difference between EDT, EDP, Parfum, Extrait, and other fragrance concentrations. Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business. Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales goals. Handle POS transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store. Keep perfume displays, shelves, testers, and product areas clean and presentable. Restock products as needed. Monitor inventory and inform management about low-stock items. Assist with promotions, deals, new arrivals, and customer inquiries. Follow store policies, attendance requirements, and professional dress standards. Work as part of a team and support other staff members when needed. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: Previous retail sales experience. Experience selling perfumes, cosmetics, beauty products, fashion, or luxury items preferred. Good knowledge of perfumes, brands, fragrance notes, and customer recommendations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Confidence in approaching customers and closing sales. Ability to work in a fast-paced mall environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible mall hours. Basic computer/POS system knowledge. Ability to stand for long periods during shifts. Preferred Experience We strongly prefer candidates who have experience with: Perfume or fragrance sales. Designer fragrance brands. Niche fragrance brands. Customer consultation and product recommendations. Upselling and cross-selling. Mall retail sales. Luxury retail or beauty retail.
