Job Description
Business Development Representative Sanas is pioneering the future of human communication. Founded by a team of Stanford researchers and entrepreneurs with deep industry experience, Sanas has developed the world's first real-time speech AI platform capable of accent translation, noise cancellation, speech enhancement, cross-language communication, and more. Sanas makes conversations clearer, more inclusive, and more effective, removing barriers that prevent people from being understood, regardless of accent, background noise, or native language. Sanas is currently one of the fastest growing startups in Silicon Valley, growing from $16M to $50M ARR in 2025. The company's core business is profitable and is on track to end 2026 with >$120M ARR. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering with a design-minded product engineering culture to build and ship cutting-edge AI models and experiences — entirely in-house. Sanas is a 130 person team established in 2020. In this short span, we've successfully secured over $100 million in funding. Our innovation has been supported by the industry's leading investors, including Insight Partners, Google Ventures, Quadrille Capital, General Catalyst, Quiet Capital, and other influential investors. Our reputation is further solidified by collaborations with numerous Fortune 100 companies. With Sanas, you're not just adopting a product; you're investing in the future of communication. If you're looking to have a significant role in roadmapping and driving technical directions, if you're looking to deploy challenging and big ideas without much overhead or slowness, if you're looking to leave your mark on an ambitious, generational mission to change how the worlds thinks about speech + AI, then Sanas is a well-suited place for you. About the Role Sanas is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers across our target markets. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities while also supporting strategic outbound campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is energized by prospecting, enjoys building relationships, and wants to grow their career within a fast-paced AI technology company. As a member of the Marketing team, you will help bridge the gap between demand generation efforts and the sales organization, ensuring high-quality engagement with prospective customers throughout the early stages of the buyer journey. What You'll Do Engage with inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, webinars, content downloads, and website inquiries. Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new business opportunities. Qualify prospective customers based on business needs, use cases, budget, timeline, and fit. Schedule meetings and discovery calls for Account Executives and Sales leadership. Collaborate closely with Marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance, lead quality, and messaging effectiveness. Maintain accurate prospect and activity records within CRM systems. Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders and decision-makers. Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives through personalized outreach efforts. Consistently achieve and exceed activity, pipeline generation, and meeting-setting goals. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Sanas' products and solutions. Contribute ideas to improve prospecting strategies, outreach messaging, and lead conversion processes. Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Lead Generation, or similar customer-facing role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience conducting outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social selling platforms such as LinkedIn. Ability to effectively qualify leads and uncover customer needs. Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Self-motivated, coachable, and driven to achieve performance goals. Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, technology, or enterprise software environments. Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or Gong. Exposure to account-based marketing (ABM) programs and demand generation initiatives. Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market sales organizations. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. At Sanas, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of AI-powered communication while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to innovation, customer success, and growth.
