Job Description
Summary of Job Purpose Group Sales Coordinator & Reservation Specialist position requires a sales oriented candidate with the ability to lead sales, drive sales, and match guest needs with the appropriate product and service using sales software. This position coordinates all group sales, acting as a liaison between our groups and resort. This position also supports the front desk staff in their daily operations while maintaining a professional, positive and seamless guest and group experience. It is important for this position to make sure that the existing relationships with our guest and groups customer base is maintained and built upon. The successful candidate works closely with both Guest Services and the Front Desk staff to organize, prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, changing environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities This job description is intended as a summary of the primary responsibilities of and the qualifications for the position. Provide accurate, updated group visit information to involved departments in a timely manner.
Gain new and maintain returning group sales skier visits through cold calling, email, marketing and relationship building.
Provide department managers with information each week, forecasting group business and project updates.
Correspond with group leaders and deliver appropriate group sales products and information.
Be the onsite point person to welcome and ensure groups are organized and ready for their day on the mountainOrganizing and collecting payment on group invoices in a timely manner, working with Accounting on a regular basis to make sure that invoices are up to date.
Support Guest Services and Front Desk department staff to accomplish established goals and objectives. Promote a team-oriented culture and demonstrates a collaborative attitude both within the departments and companywide. Process all sales transactions in-person, via phone/email and retrieval of web sales. Answer and communicate guest inquiries in a prompt manner.
Answer and communicate all products and services in a timely manner.
Direct calls to appropriate departments and respond to confidential matters appropriately. Support Front Desk in daily operations such as answering phones, emails and mail handling.
Assisting guests with reservations using sales software. Responsible for balancing cash drawers at the close of each day. Job Qualifications Supervisory skills required Knowledgeable of Dodge Ridge products and services Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office/Google FormsPossess the ability to read and write legibly and use good composition skills to complete written communication via email; strong verbal communication skills; basic mathematical skills Possess problem solving skills and the ability to handle stress in a calm professional mannerEnjoys contact with the public and can direct all customer service situations to the appropriate departmentAvailable to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidaysAbility to consistently deliver excellent customer serviceAbility to answer calls professionally in a high call volume environment.

Support the harmony and goodwill of the Company. Work Schedules Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees. When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week. You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snow packed, and icy road surfaces. Working Conditions At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures. Uniforms A professional appearance at Dodge Ridge is required. Please wear your nametag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will be required to provide some items as part of your job, as listed below. The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Dodge Ridge logo while on shift.
