O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable local garage door company to find their next Sales Technician & Service Pro. This full-time position is based in Redding, CA, with occasional travel to the Chico area. This is a unique position that combines customer service, sales, problem-solving, and hands-on technical work. Previous garage door installation and repair experience is highly preferred; however, the ideal candidate will also have a strong mechanical or skilled-trade background, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to work directly with customers. The company is looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, learns quickly, and has a genuine can-do attitude. Sales Technician & Service Pro - Compensation & Schedule $20.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time opportunity Paid training Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered through O2 Company-provided work van, tools, and gas for work-related use Opportunity for long-term placement with the client Sales Technician & Service Pro - Responsibilities Meet with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate garage door products, repairs, or solutions Provide estimates and clearly communicate available options Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customers feel valued throughout the process Identify sales opportunities and follow up with customers in a timely manner Diagnose and troubleshoot garage door issues Perform garage door service, repairs, and installations within the scope of the position Approach service calls with a problem-solving mindset and provide reliable solutions Maintain strong communication with customers and internal team members Use Apple tablets, laptops, and ServiceTitan to manage appointments, estimates, and customer information Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicle Travel throughout the Redding area and occasionally to Chico as needed Sales Technician & Service Pro - Qualifications Previous garage door installation, repair, or service experience highly preferred Strong mechanical, construction, installation, repair, or skilled-trade background Previous sales experience, particularly in home services or in-home sales, strongly preferred Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Confident communicating with customers and recommending products or services based on their needs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative Comfortable using technology; proficiency with Apple products preferred High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must successfully complete a background check Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee.
