Job Description

Job Title:
Engineering Sales Coordinator Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Sales Coordinator to support daily sales and operational activities. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination between clients, sales, and project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Review incoming Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and collaborate with clients to clarify project scope and technical requirements. Utilize a cloud-based CRM platform (Salesforce) to: Create and manage RFQs, accounts, and sales orders Prepare and maintain accurate project cost estimates Track and follow up on open quotations Maintain and update the customer contact database Coordinate detailed handoffs from Sales to Project Management for newly secured orders to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor and act on "open quotes" reports, proactively engaging with clients and the Outside Sales Team to close opportunities. Manage and follow up on "open tasks" reports, ensuring timely completion across departments. Plan and execute a monthly email and LinkedIn marketing campaign to support business development efforts. Required Skills & Competencies Strong proficiency in project administration, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Working knowledge of construction project management principles and engineering documentation. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (4-year college degree) required. Previous experience in inside sales, project coordination, or engineering/construction support is highly preferred. Background in operations, oil & gas, engineering, or industrial environments is a plus. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to remain composed and professional under pressure while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented attitude. Work Environment This position is primarily based in an office setting, with potential for a hybrid arrangement under special circumstances. Regular collaboration and check-ins with management are expected to ensure alignment and productivity. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
