The Sales Coordinator is an entry level position with a career path to the Sales arena. Candidates must be highly motivated and eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the Sales role, and progress to a Sales Manager. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner and enjoys competition. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Assisting Sales Managers with group sales leads, creating proposals, drafting Sales Agreements, entering bids into electronic RFP systems such as Cvent etc. Assisting with marketing tasks, client events, and solicitation projects. This position will also be assigned elevated responsibilities including but not limited to: Soliciting and responding to local account's RFPs Providing sites for volume, local accounts, contract accounts and leads Providing monthly reports to DRM and DOSM through Agency360 on Business Travel performance Identify areas of opportunity for market share or lost market share Managing Hyatt Prive Program Working with DOSM on wholesale and agency

Programs:

Costco, AAA, AMEX, CHASE Reviewing Prive, agency and BT reservation made daily and arrival reports: identify new arrivals, VIPs The wage for this position is $32/hr. This is the pay Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
