Responsibilities Engage with customers both inside the showroom and through outside sales efforts to understand their flooring needs and provide tailored solutions. Assist clients with layout design, renovation planning, and fixture selections to create inspiring spaces that meet their vision. Negotiate pricing, upsell additional products or services such as lighting or remodeling fixtures, and close sales confidently while maintaining excellent customer service. Build strong client relationships through consistent follow-up, personalized communication, and exceptional service to foster loyalty and repeat business. Manage POS systems for cash handling, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed records of transactions. Collaborate with the team on merchandising strategies, stock management, and maintaining a well-organized showroom environment. Skills Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or construction sales with a focus on high-end products. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products such as lighting fixtures or remodeling services effectively. Knowledge of renovation processes, remodeling projects, construction experience, and maintenance practices. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele. Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing, measurements, and project estimates accurately. Customer service-oriented mindset with organizational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously. Familiarity with interior design principles, lighting design concepts, merchandising techniques, and retail math.
