Full job description:

Cycle Sport is seeking a full-time experienced bicycle sales person to work in our San Mateo store. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations Educate customers on bicycles, components, accessories, and apparel Complete opening and closing procedures Accurately handle cash and process sales transactions Answer phones and assist customers with questions Receive, stock, and merchandise inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor Work collaboratively with teammates to support daily store operations Qualifications Cash handling experience required Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality Strong communication and customer service skills Basic knowledge of bicycles and cycling products, or the ability to learn quickly Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Weekend availability Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for: Competitive base pay in addition to performance-based commission bonuses depending on sales goals (eligible after 90 days of employment) Health insurance 401(k) Employee discounts Ongoing product and industry training Opportunities for growth and advancement Individuals with prior bike shop experience preferred and retail sales is required for this position, however we are willing to train the right person.
