This position is ideal for someone who understands electrical products, enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can build strong relationships with contractors, electricians, and commercial customers. The role combines inside sales, customer service, technical product support, and warehouse coordination responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, team-oriented, and ready to grow with the company. Responsibilities Inside Sales & Customer Service Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the sales counter, by phone, text, and email. Provide exceptional customer service and support to contractors, electricians, and commercial customers. Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and technical product information. Prepare estimates, quotations, and sales orders accurately and efficiently. Follow up on open quotes and customer inquiries to close sales opportunities. Recommend solutions and alternative products based on customer needs and project requirements. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships. Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Communicate order updates, service alerts, and other important information professionally. Business Development Proactively generate new business opportunities through warm calls and customer outreach. Conduct cold calls during downtime to introduce Castillo Electric Distribution to potential customers and contractors. Identify upcoming projects and opportunities where we can support customer electrical supply needs. Promote company products and services confidently and professionally. Help grow customer accounts and increase sales opportunities. Warehouse & Operations Support Assist with inventory organization and warehouse coordination as needed. Participate in cycle counts, inventory verification, and inventory accuracy efforts. Help identify products that need replenishment or reordering. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support team operations and assist in additional areas when needed. Requirements Electrical industry experience required Minimum 3 years of experience in: Electrical supply/distribution Electrical contracting Wholesale electrical sales Construction supply or related electrical industry experience Strong knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and products Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable working with contractors, electricians, and project managers Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with ERP/POS systems (Odoo experience is a plus) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused Preferred Qualities Self-motivated and proactive Strong work ethic and positive attitude Relationship-driven and customer-focused Comfortable making outbound sales calls Team player willing to support operations when needed Desire to grow within the company Why Join Castillo Electric Distribution?
