This position works closely with internal teams, HQ in Japan, customers, vendors, warehouses, and logistics providers to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient execution of operational activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Order Processing & Sales Support Process and manage customer orders accurately and in a timely manner Coordinate shipping arrangements for international and domestic operations Provide sales support and communication assistance for wholesale representatives Respond to customer inquiries from consumers in the US and provide customer service for B2C operations while consulting with the vendors as needed Assist with preparation of customs and trade documentation, including invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin Maintain accurate order and shipment records Procurement, Inventory & Logistics Support import/export operations, including triangular trade activities Process purchasing-related data entry and procurement support for B2B and B2C operations Record purchasing quantities and cost Coordinate domestic logistics, shipping, and delivery activities Assist with warehouse coordination and inventory tracking for internal warehouse operations and third-party logistics providers Monitor and maintain inventory records for products Support sample inventory tracking and management for products Communicate with vendors, carriers, and warehouse providers to resolve operational issues and ensure timely deliveries Systems & Data Management Perform SAP postings, voucher entries, and transaction processing Input product master data into related systems Maintain and update master data records within ERP and related systems Ensure accuracy and completeness of operational and inventory data, and make corrections as needed. Generate reports and support data management activities as needed Accounting & Payment Support Assist with payment processing activities Support credit card reconciliation and related payment operations for B2B business activities Coordinate with accounting and operations teams regarding invoices and payment-related documentation Marketing & General Business Support Conduct market research and assist with gathering competitive market information Support trade show attendance and related operational coordination Provide field support for marketing and research activities Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications Associate's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Understanding of operational processes such as order processing, logistics, and inventory coordination Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience using SAP Knowledge of international trade, customs procedures, and import/export documentation Experience with U.S. domestic logistics and warehouse coordination Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred What We Offer Opportunity to gain hands-on experience across core business functions, including operations, logistics, and accounting Exposure to both B2B and B2C business environments within the lifestyle and fashion industry Close collaboration with the management team, providing visibility into business decision-making processes Involvement in international operations, working directly with headquarters in Japan and global partners Opportunity to work with well-established, fast-growing lifestyle brands with strong market presence and deep partnerships with Kowa A dynamic and cross-functional environment that allows you to build a broad skill set and grow professionally Career Growth Opportunity This role offers a strong foundation for individuals who are looking to build a career in operations, logistics, and international business.
