Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team at LJ Stone Inc in Upland, CA. In this role, you will greet customers in our showroom, assist them in selecting stone and cabinetry products, calculate material requirements, and provide accurate project quotes.Key Responsibilities:
- Greet showroom visitors, understand their remodeling or construction needs, and present product options (Quartz, Marble, Quartzite, and Cabinets).
- Read layouts or measure dimensions to accurately calculate material quantities and estimate project costs.
- Provide detailed and professional price quotes to homeowners, contractors, and designers.
- Follow up on sales leads and inquiries proactively to close deals and achieve sales goals.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior sales or customer service experience in retail, home improvement, building materials, stone, or cabinetry industry is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Excel, Email, and basic quoting/billing software.
- Excellent math and organizational skills to ensure accurate calculations for quotes.
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a major plus.
- Must have legal status to work in the United States.
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation: Base salary/Hourly pay ($17.00
- $25.00/hour, depending on experience) plus commission.
