Job Description
The role We build and maintain commercial landscapes across Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, the Central Coast, and the San Fernando Valley. We have been doing it since 1970. Our clients are property managers, HOA boards, facilities teams, general contractors, and landscape architects. We are hiring a salesperson to grow our book of business. You will find the opportunities, build the relationships, walk the sites, present the proposals, and close the contracts. Responsibilities Prospect for new maintenance and construction work through referrals, networking, and direct outreach Build and grow relationships with property managers, HOA boards, facilities teams, general contractors, and landscape architects Manage a pipeline and move deals from first contact to signed contract Present proposals and work through questions, revisions, and negotiations Track opportunities through referrals, plan rooms, and agency portals Scope and price work, and complete takeoffs, with support from our estimator on complex jobs. You are not estimating alone. Our estimator handles the heavy technical work so you can stay in front of clients Keep the pipeline and client records current in our CRM Requirements 3+ years selling in commercial landscape, construction, or a related field, with a record of closing Strong relationship building and presentation skills Comfortable scoping and pricing work, or the aptitude to learn our system quickly Able to read construction plans and specifications, or the drive to develop that skill Valid California driver's license and clean driving record Able to travel regularly to job sites across our service area Preferred Existing relationships with property managers, HOA boards, or general contractors in the region Bilingual English and Spanish Benefits Performance bonuses based on new contracts, contract value, and job margin Company vehicle with fuel and maintenance covered Paid time off and holidays Phone and laptop CAL Savers account
