We are looking for an Exteriors Sales Representative to join our team, selling roofing retail, roofing insurance, siding and window installation projects. This role is expected to self-generate a strong book of business through door-to-door prospecting, networking, B2B outreach, referrals and other lead generation efforts, while managing the customer relationship from lead generation through successful project completion with the support of our internal operations team. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Build and self-generate a robust pipeline of prospective customers through door-to-door canvassing, networking, B2B outreach, existing customer rehash, referrals and other networking efforts. Meet with prospective customers in their home to assess their needs, discuss product options, and offer recommendations. Inspect existing exterior areas, identify needs and explain solutions. Deliver sales presentations to showcase different product lines, explaining features and communicating the value of our services. Collaborate with internal teams (including Exteriors, installers, finance, service, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience. Participate on site during installation, assuaging any customer concerns and immediately addressing any installation issues through proper channels. Maintain customer contact throughout the installation of the project, from initial contact to collecting payment-in-full. Proactively follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships. Use data and CRM records to uphold margin achievement and healthy profitability. Maintain detailed customer notes and pay attention to fine project details.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications preferred. 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in residential construction. Working knowledge of the construction industry, especially siding, windows and doors. Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills. Strong math skills and an understanding of margin and profitability. Comfortable discussing price and financing options; strong negotiation skills. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. Strong attention to detail. Capable of managing administrative work and schedule. Thrives on self-generating and building customer relationships into a strong pipeline/book of business. Competitive and winning attitude. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check with no felonies. Willingness to work evenings/weekends. Strong computer skills. This position requires independent judgement, problem solving ability, keen observation skills and a high level of detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success. The ability to work in collaboration with office teams, subcontractors and Senior Management is required. The desire to present yourself and J&K Roofing in the utmost professional and respectful manner to our customers, contractors and suppliers is integral to success in this role.
Schedule:
In-office, Monday-Friday daily presence for first 60 days or $500K in sales. After 90 days and meeting all KPI's, flexible schedule available (evenings/weekends required as customer demands dictate). Attend weekly/monthly team meetings and training workshops.

Compensation & Earnings Potential:
Commission-only role with uncapped earnings. Total OTE from $100,000
- 150,000, with top performers potentially earning $200K+.
- Uncapped Commission 12% of final contract amount for company provided leads (5% when customer deposit collected, balance when project is paid in full) 15% of final contract amount for self-generated leads (5% when customer deposit collected, balance when project is paid in full) Bonuses/Incentives based on annual revenue target achievement
