Responsibilities Handle high-volume inbound calls with a professional presence. Generate fast and accurate quotes, and manage order entries efficiently. Maintain strong follow-up discipline and effective time management. Process orders and ensure data entry accuracy. Engage in account management, prospecting, cold calling, and outbound sales. Develop and maintain customer relationships with a customer service-oriented approach. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or customer service. High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with POS or ERP systems such as SAP. Basic math skills, including measurements and fractions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the steel service center or metals industry. Knowledge of structural steel, rebar, or fabrication. Exposure to Salesforce, SAP, or similar CRM/ERP systems. Understanding of margins, markups, and pricing strategies. Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings is a strong advantage. Work Environment This is a fully on-site role located in Bozrah, CT, within a fast-paced steel service center environment. You will have high interaction with customers, drivers, and operations, in a hands-on, detail-driven culture. The facility features state-of-the-art processing equipment and a modern fleet of trucks. The leadership team values accountability, reliability, and service, providing a supportive environment for growth and advancement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozrah, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
