Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Wholesale Parts Advisor to join our automotive parts team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for wholesale customers, providing expert advice on vehicle parts and accessories, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help build strong customer relationships, drive sales, and support the overall success of our dealership's parts department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your automotive knowledge and sales expertise can truly shine. Dual brand opportunity with Mopar and Hyundai with more product lines coming down the line. Duties Assist wholesale clients by providing detailed product information, automotive diagnostics guidance, and vehicle maintenance advice to meet their specific needs. Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering parts efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, and ensuring accurate stock records through inventory management software. Negotiate prices and terms with customers to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment through order management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and service procedures to advise customers effectively on parts compatibility and installation requirements. Handle cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with professionalism during transactions, including phone etiquette when communicating with clients. Support marketing initiatives by promoting special offers or new product lines to increase retail sales and customer engagement. Skills Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes. Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities to foster customer trust and close sales successfully. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Proficiency in inventory management tools, POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and CMMS software for efficient operations. Demonstrated experience in retail sales, dealership environments, or automotive service centers with a focus on inventory control and stock management. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks such as order fulfillment, stocking, and maintaining accurate records. Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing, discounts, and profit margins. Knowledge of dealership experience or familiarity with marketing strategies within the automotive industry is a plus.
